The appeal highlights:
- Shiney moved to Bombay High Court challenging his conviction on the ground that it was a "perverse and illegal" judgement AND the High court admitted the appeal.
- Judgement by lower court “unheard of in the history of criminal law.”
- Apart from the girl denying the alleged offence, even the medical evidence is negative. Evidence given by doctors, who examined Shiney and the victim, stated that there are no injuries on the girl's body.
- Even the semen and blood samples were negative of Shiney's DNA.
- Not a single stain of semen and blood was found on the private parts of the girl or Shiney.
- The CCTV footage of the building's lift lobby clearly shows the girl coming down calmly with her hair neatly combed and tied and clothes in order.

Great stuff MSN, we need lots more like this........its not just about Shiney being innocent but for the real truth to come out.

Good news all. The High Court admitted the appeal challenging his conviction by the session court. Admitting the appeal means the High court finds something not right with the judgement passed by the lower court.
Times Of India -- "He said the chemical analyst did not mention any stains on his clothes and the stains were found on a quilt recovered from the master bedroom, which even the police said was not where the alleged rape happened. The DNA tests give no origin or date of semen on the quilt"

This what happens when the power is all in the hands of one judge. There should be jury system in India.
Shiney would'nt be in the jail if there was jury system.
can the high court ask for call records of the maid calling shineys's house on the prevoius day and the day of the incidents. that will prove everything.
if shiney is proved innocent will the media and judicial system spit on themselves
