There have been so many talks about this in the air. But the fact is that Shiney Ahuja did not have consensual sex with maid...he has always said that he is being framed and hasn't done any wrong.
So who started the rumor?
Well here goes...
1. On July 4, 2009, Times of India Mumbai publishes the following on Main page
with the following article on Page 3 : POLICE OPPOSE ACTOR'S BAIL PLEA
2. On July 5, 2009, Times of India in their online edition, posts the following :
Shiney Ahuja did not have consensual sex with maid: Lawyer
3. On July 6, 2009, Times of India Mumbai, On page 6, in a small print publishes the following correction :Correction and Clarifications

Shiney never confessed that he had sex or raped the maid. He has been saying all along he was framed.
Shiney has has always maintained that there was NO SEX....forget rape but has never been backed strongly by Media....now its the time for you media guys.
Also is it not common sense that why would his family (spl. his wife) support him if he would have done something like this!

they say, he paid off the maid to retract the statement. do u think this news would not leak out? if it does, it is a NON-BAILABLE warrant for the victim.
open your eyes -- the maid got scared of wrongfully putting her thumb print (yes she does not read or write) on the FIR and changed her statement in the 164 within a few days of FIR by calling atyachaar. later she simply told the truth.
correction -- it is a NON-BAILABLE warrant for the **victim**. it shd've been accused. My bad -- i find it hard to call shiney "accused"
Shiney Ahuja is an amazing human being. Polite and respectful. He can never do something like this. He has been telling this all along, he is being framed. He is innocent. Period!!
